Bizum is a Spanish instant mobile payments service that lets people and businesses send and receive money using just a phone number. It’s integrated directly into the smartphone apps of many Spanish banks, so customers don’t need a separate app or account.

Bizum transactions are supported for the following transaction types:

• Purchase
• Refund

In order to send a sale transactions for Bizum to our gateway you will need to send an AcceptorAuthorisationRequest with the following xml tag:

All other xml tags need to be send in the same way as for other card payments. Encryption of xml tags under Card must be in place.

A refund can be done in same way as for a normal card transaction by referring to the original transaction.

In the response you will receive the masked IBAN and customer phone number that are linked the customer, so taht you can print them on the receipt.
